Local Board members
My name is Sarah Kidd and I have been a member of the Local Board since February 2018. I applied to join the board as I wished to contribute to the life of the school and felt I had relevant skills. I also currently have two children who attend Holmbush.
I work as a Senior Social Worker on a Mental Health team. On the Local Board I am the nominated member for Safeguarding.
My name is Ian Robinson.
My background is working within the public sector.
My career in the public sector began at Haringey Social Services in London, working with Asylum Seekers in 1999 and I have gone on to work for a number of housing associations in the South East of England specialising in Homelessness Prevention and Mental Health.
I was delighted to have the opportunity to become a local board member at Holmbush Primary Academy with this role becoming active in April 2018. To have a chance of becoming a local board member at my children's school was also an opportunity I felt that I had to take.
I have currently taken on the role of Interim Chair and I am looking forward to this further challenge and also working more closely with the Principal Susan Stickley.
My name is Mandy Southwell.
I am a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant currently working in Year 6, I started as a voluntary helper over twenty years ago and love my job.
Having worked within a range of year groups, I feel my experience and knowledge of school life in Holmbush Primary Academy would enable me to be a more able, supportive member of the Governing Team.
I am looking forward to supporting Holmbush in its journey forward.
My name is Mark Beadle and I have recently joined the Local Board. I applied to join the board as I wished to contribute to the school my two boys attend.
I work as an IT Consultant and work mainly from home which allows me to participate in Local Board activities.
